While traditional art privileges visual information, contemporary sonic artists use sound to create immersive environments. In this exhibition, the designers addressed the confluence of the sonic and the visual, in a way that integrated the two senses, and embarked upon a creative process that sought a synthesis of sound, form and space to produce a compelling visual, physical, and immersive experience. The outcome is a ‘sonic grove’ for contemplative listening.
