Local Time is an ecological listening project based on Marin Balluk Wurundjeri Country, in and around Footscray in the inner West of Naarm (‘Melbourne’, ‘Australia’). Through listening excursions, field recording and experimental web design, BF is exploring everyday rhythms in a more-than-human neighbourhood.

The first public iteration of Local Time was an overnight, durational, browser-based listening experience presented at Avantwhatever festival in July 2020. Excerpts and other iterations have been published or presented elsewhere, such as Solitude Journal/Akadamie Solitude, WFMU and ADSR Zine.
