Miyuki Jokiranta and Ben Byrne present their audio work Whalefall in ambisonic surround sound. Recently commissioned and premiered by ORF 1’s Kunst Zum Hören, Whalefall listens to the stories of leviathans, mythic and real. This presentation is an experiment in reworking the original stereo audio piece using ambisonics and the pair welcome feedback on the work in progress.
